Long-established, well-respected accounting firm in the Bartlesville, OK area is seeking a TAX PROFESSIONAL to join our team. We offer a broad range of services including tax planning and preparation, accounting and audit services, consulting and estate planning to individual, business, and non-profit clients. The firm’s two active, and three semi-retired, partners combine over 140 years of total accounting experience to provide a wealth of expertise and knowledge. They have a clear vision for the future and are here to help you develop your career path.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with tax team to provide quality tax services to clients of large and small companies and organizations in a wide variety of industries, such as, Indian Tribes and casinos, oil and gas, manufacturing, cities and towns, non-profit and for-profit organizations
- Understanding of individual, partnership, corporate and fiduciary income tax areas
- Lead projects in estate, gift, nonprofit and pension tax areas
- Complete tasks associated with income tax planning, research technical tax issues and assist with other business consulting projects
- Demonstrate the capacity to apply most general tax rules and concepts
- Effectively communicate results, both internally with staff and externally with clients on project and client information
- Serve as a tax consultant and preparer
- Encourage new and repeat business opportunities
- File federal, state, and local tax documents
- Recommend tax strategies by researching federal, state and local taxation issues
